The Boarnot Encounter by: Steven Ericksen © 2015-2022 All Rights Reserved. You hear a strange and ominous sound in the distance. It might be thunder, it's hard to tell. You hear it again and wonder if it is coming closer. After a few uncomfortable moments you realize you probably shouldn't be standing out in an open field. You see that there is a rather large forest in front of you and some rock formations off too your right. Behind and to the left of you is an open plain. You now must make a decision: You decide to crouch down in some tall grass in the open field you have found yourself in and hope no one or anything notices you. You quickly begin to walk towards the somewhat gloomy forest that lies ahead of you. You turn to your right and begin to run at a frenzied pace towards the odd rock formation not far from your new found location. You turn around and run out into the open plain behind you.
